Introducing the PANZERA Flieger 46
Panzera launched in 2009 with the Flieger pilots watch creating the foundation of the brands philosophy. In 2020, the Flieger has evolved into the ultimate modern pilots watch.
The latest evolution of the Panzera Flieger maintains the iconic look of the previous generations, whilst updating and upgrading the watch to reach new heights. The new watch is now 46mm in diameter and features a full sapphire crystal protecting the dial.
The dial has been entirely redesigned to pay tribute to the aviation heritage of the Flieger aesthetic. The altimeter date wheel and cut out remains, and is flanked by an all new minutes, and hours track outboard.
Panzera’s unique skeletonised handset, made famous for the Aquamarine line, is now showcased in the Flieger 46, offering new levels of legibility to the new timepiece. Red remains a staple of the Panzera design also, with the continuation of the red tipped second hand, crafted to pay homage to propeller aircraft of the era that gave rise to the Flieger design.
Powered by the lauded Seiko NH35 automatic movement, the Flieger 46 is built tough and built to last. The display case back featuring decoration reminiscent of today’s modern jet engine aircraft, and allowing a look into the heart of the watch.
Another noticeable upgrade to the Flieger 46 is the use of Panzera’s knurled crown. Fast becoming synonymous with the Panzera brand, the screw down crown offers 50 metres of water resistance to the new watch.
The new Panzera Flieger 46 is available in two variations. The ‘Hornet’ featuring a black dial encased in 316L surgical grade steel, for the classic instrument look.
The ‘Phantom’ range is a matte black IP coated Flieger, with an unmistakable stealth visual appeal.
The Panzera Flieger 46 is available now in the Panzera store.
